- The work
- General OB: clinic patients and teaching in clinic and hospital; gyn surgery optional. Hospitalist: labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, deliveries and surgery, consults, ED evaluations, quality improvement, supervising residents.
- Schedule
- Hospitalist: fourteen 12 hour shifts OR seven 24 hour shifts per month.
- Call
- General OB role takes 3 (24hour) call shifts per month.
- Patients
- Obstetric and gynecologic patients, including labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies and emergency department evaluations.
- What the pay includes
- Sign on bonus, paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and CME allowance.
- Requirements
- Current M.D. or D.O. license; board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; adult and neonatal resuscitation certification; 5 year minimum of Labor and Delivery experience; proficiency with hospital EMR systems.
