Labor Department H-1B wage filings
These are wages employers offered to visa-sponsored clinicians. They are usually base pay and exclude bonuses. They over-represent international graduates, academic centers, and underserved areas.
Labor Department permanent labor certifications
Green card filings. Offered wage for one position. Small numbers per employer.
Federal employee pay records
Federal pay is set by national pay tables plus market pay. It is a poor guide to private-sector pay in the same city.
These are annualized basic pay rates, which exclude performance pay, and they name the agency, not the facility.
State and public university payroll
Public employee records. Often base salary from the university only, excluding practice-plan income, which can be most of a physician's pay.
Posted pay ranges
Ranges employers posted under pay transparency laws. Ranges are often wide and exclude bonuses.
