About this job
Full-time outpatient medical geneticist role with the AdventHealth Medical Genetics & Genomics program in Orlando, Florida, joining two other physicians and genetic counselors. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration across specialties and offers the option to work with the research team.
- Setting
- Outpatient clinic within AdventHealth Medical Group, a 900+ physician multi-specialty group; AdventHealth Orlando is an acute-care, tertiary hospital caring for approximately 300,000 patients a year.
- The work
- Outpatient genetics clinic, collaborating with pediatric and adult cardiology, GI, hematology/oncology, MFM, neurology and transplantation surgery teams; working with APPs and genetic counselors. Research participation is available.
- Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.
- Call
- Participates in a call rotation.
- Patients
- Pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

- Requirements
- Board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics; board eligible considered with certification required within two years of employment. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
