Pulmonary Critical Care physician joining an established AdventHealth Medical Group practice in Orlando, Florida, with dedicated inpatient and outpatient pulmonary time and a rotating ICU block. The role involves building a Pulmonary Critical Care program and teaching fellows.
- Setting
- AdventHealth Orlando, a tertiary facility housing the Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute, plus AdventHealth Winter Park and possibly East Orlando hospitals; outpatient clinic at the Ridgewood Office.
- The work
- Inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic, bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis and ICU procedures; supervising and teaching Pulmonary Critical Care fellows; Lung Nodule Program; Thoracic Tumor Board participation.
- Schedule
- Dedicated inpatient and outpatient pulmonary time with a rotating ICU block of approximately 1:8 weeks; dedicated ICU shifts, approximately 46 shifts a year.
- Patients
- Pulmonary and critical care patients, including ICU; physician expected to build a patient base within the local community.
- Requirements
- Board Certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care (ABIM).
