Assistant Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Services providing physician leadership for AdventHealth's West Florida Region, based in Tampa, Florida. The role leads the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) program and physician documentation initiatives, working with Utilization Management, Care Management and hospitalist leaders.
- Setting
- Regional health system, West Florida Region; address 3100 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, Florida.
- The work
- Oversee CDI leadership and physician teams, lead system-wide standardization and dashboards, support Care Management and Utilization Management, and partner with hospitalist leaders on rounding, length of stay and throughput.
- Schedule
- Full time; shift listed as 24 Hours.
- Requirements
- MD or DO required; master's in business or healthcare administration preferred; ABMS certification preferred. Experience as a physician advisor and in CDI in a large complex or regional health system. Florida Level 2 background screening.
