- The work
- Newborn admissions, daily rounds, discharges, well newborn care and family education, stabilization and transfer coordination, collaboration with community pediatricians and neonatal specialists, and quality and safety initiatives.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 7 days on / 7 days off, with Monday through Friday coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during service weeks.
- Call
- No overnight in-house responsibilities.
- Patients
- Well newborns during the newborn hospitalization, with stabilization and transfer to higher levels of care when indicated.
- What the pay includes
- Guaranteed compensation with productivity and quality incentives, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a CME allowance with dedicated CME days.
- Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, eligible for Florida medical licensure, and interest or experience in newborn medicine, newborn nursery care, or pediatric hospital medicine.
