Full-time employed Pediatric Gastroenterologist with AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth for Children in Central Florida, joining four pediatric gastroenterologists and three advanced practice providers. The practice is about 80% general GI and 20% subspecialty care, with the opportunity to develop a niche and help shape a potential fellowship program.
- Setting
- The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children, a tertiary children's hospital, with clinical support across multiple Central Florida locations. The team is supported by two registered nurses and two registered dietitians.
- The work
- General pediatric GI practice with procedural coverage one day per week, plus the option to build a niche in pancreatic diseases, motility disorders, or academic medicine and fellowship development.
- Schedule
- Full-time, with procedural coverage one day per week.
- Call
- 1-in-5 call rotation, covered one week at a time, including inpatient service, Emergency Department consultations and after-hours office call.
- Patients
- Children with a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions; approximately 80% general GI and 20% subspecialty care, including GI emergencies such as foreign body ingestion and gastrointestinal bleeding.
