- Academic 874 bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital and Level I Trauma Center. 3 EP labs plus one OR day per week for extractions, growing to 4 EP labs including a hybrid lab in 2027.
- The work
- Full spectrum EP including ablations, device implants and lead extraction. Clinic, 1-2 days per month at ambulatory surgical centers or regional hospitals, outreach about one day per month; clinical research interest.
- Schedule
- Three days per week in the EP lab and one to two days per week in clinic.
- Call
- One night of call per week when not on weekend coverage, plus nine weekends per year; two electrophysiologists staff each weekend, one doing procedures and one rounding and consults.
- Patients
- Complex, high acuity adult cardiovascular patients. Approximately 15–17 patients per clinic day, mostly new and complex follow ups; APPs handle routine follow ups.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.

- BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease and BE/BC in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
