Obstetric anesthesiologist role with Advocate Health's physician-led medical group at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The unit handles approximately 2200 deliveries annually, many high risk, in a collaborative model with CRNAs.
- Setting
- Aurora Sinai Medical Center, a 386-bed Level II trauma center with a Level III NICU, high risk pregnancy care and Wisconsin's largest midwifery practice. Epic EMR.
- The work
- Provide obstetric anesthesia care, working in a collaborative model with CRNAs, supported by partners, anesthesia techs, anesthesia aides and APPs.
- Call
- Call is part of the role; the posting notes guaranteed post-call days.
- Patients
- Obstetric patients; approximately 2200 deliveries annually, many of which are high risk.
- What the pay includes
- Eligible for a student loan forgiveness program and/or sign-on bonus, relocation assistance up to $12,000, and dedicated CME time.
- Requirements
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency. Dedicated OB anesthesiology experience required; OB anesthesiology fellowship preferred. New or experienced physicians considered.
