- The work
- Lead the section's strategy, research and clinical trials; recruit and mentor faculty and APPs. Clinically, oversee APP-led inpatient and resident teaching teams, see clinic with fellows in MD/APP pods, and imaging as individualized.
- Schedule
- 1.0 FTE, 80% clinical / 20% administrative; up to 20% protected research effort may be added with funding. 10–13 weeks of inpatient service annually, including 8–10 weeks with weekend coverage.
- Call
- Weekday and weekend call shared across NI and IC faculty.
- Patients
- Complex cardiac and vascular patients; inpatient, outpatient and imaging work, with CVICU service for those with critical care training or experience.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances, relocation assistance and paid medical liability insurance.
- Requirements
- BC in Cardiovascular Disease and BC Echo; BE/BC Nuclear, Cardiac MRI and/or Coronary CTA if applicable. Record of clinical excellence, research and graduate medical education; leadership experience preferred.
