The work
Provide emergency care in the ED, working alongside APPs in team-based care.
Schedule
One 12-hour physician shift daily providing continuous coverage; APPs work 8–10 hour shifts. A nocturnist position is available.
Patients
Annual ED volume under 20,000 visits; lower-acuity admissions to the attached 15-bed hospital.
What the pay includes
Additional compensation available for a nocturnist position; CME allowances and relocation assistance.
Requirements
Emergency Medicine board certified or board eligible; North Carolina medical license or eligibility; current DEA and DPS registration in North Carolina.
