- The work
- Outpatient clinic, individualized imaging, and 10–13 weeks of inpatient service overseeing an APP led team, resident teaching service, or CVICU if critical care trained. Occasional outreach clinics.
- Schedule
- On average 4.5 days per week clinical plus 0.5 day administrative; optional 4.5 days per week outpatient clinic only. 10–13 weeks of inpatient service annually, including 8–10 weeks with weekend coverage.
- Call
- Shared across NI faculty: on average one weekend per month (Friday night to Monday morning) and one weeknight every three weeks; weekend call can be bundled with inpatient service.
- Patients
- Full spectrum of cardiovascular disease, including complex cardiac and vascular patients in the region.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease and Echo; BE/BC Nuclear, Cardiac MRI and/or Coronary CTA if applicable. CVICU service requires critical care training and/or experience.
