- The work
- Perform CABG, thoracic aortic surgery, mitral valve repair, minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, Impella support and ECMO; participate in LVAD and TAVR programs and all thoracic surgery excluding transplant.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE.
- Call
- 1:4 call shared with partners, supported by surgically trained APPs.
- Patients
- Cardiac and thoracic surgical patients, including LVAD, TAVR, ECMO and Impella cases; no transplant.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances, relocation assistance and paid medical liability insurance.
- Requirements
- BE/BC American Board of Thoracic Surgery; active Georgia license or ability to obtain. Valve experience or interest preferred. Junior surgeons and new graduates get structured onboarding in Charlotte, NC.
