- The work
- Intraprocedural and multi-modality imaging including OR days, cardiology and valve center clinics, heart team participation presenting imaging data, Adult Echo directorship duties, and imaging research in echo, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.
- Schedule
- Typical week: 2-3 imaging days (includes 1 day in OR), 1-2 clinic days, plus protected administrative time for directorship responsibilities.
- Call
- Nine weekends per year (Saturday/Sunday) and approximately 2-3 weeknight calls per month.
- Patients
- Complex, high acuity adult cardiovascular patients. Program volumes exceed 450 TAVR procedures, 70+ mitral interventions, 20+ tricuspid interventions and 300+ left atrial appendage occlusion cases annually.
