- The work
- Inpatient heart failure service and call blocks, outpatient clinic, outreach clinics, and procedures: RHC and biopsies at CMC; RHC and CardioMEMS at Cabarrus. HF APPs support daily patient management.
- Schedule
- Outpatient clinic of approximately 12-13 patients per day on average; outreach clinics up to 3 days per month on average.
- Call
- Call coverage and inpatient service blocks 8 weeks per year, covering the CMC heart failure service, shock call for all 3 hospital sites, and transplants.
- Patients
- Advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, VAD and heart transplant patients; about 12-13 outpatients per day on average.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances, relocation assistance and paid medical liability insurance.
- Requirements
- BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease and in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant; eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina & South Carolina.
