- Setting
- Primary site is High Point Medical Center, a 351-bed hospital, with cases also at the 885-bed academic main campus in Winston-Salem. Cath labs: 5 at main campus, 3 at High Point, 1 at an ASC in Greensboro. Epic EMR.
- The work
- Diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, outpatient clinic in MD/APP pods, and 6-8 weeks of inpatient service annually providing floor and CCU consults. Cath lab attending of the day rounds on CCU patients.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE. Two to three days per week in the cath lab and one to two days per week in clinic.
- Call
- 1:5 weekday and 1:5 weekend STEMI call on average, with Mondays off after STEMI weekend call.
- Patients
- Acute coronary syndromes (STEMI/NSTEMI) and complex coronary disease; coronary angiography, PCI, atherectomy and IVUS/FFR. No peripheral or structural interventions.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- BE/BC in Interventional Cardiology; BE/BC Echo if applicable.
