- Inpatient consultations, outpatient care and endoscopic procedures; multidisciplinary clinics; coordinating with UPMC and local transplant surgeons; mentoring residents and medical students; research and education with Wake Forest.
- Schedule
- Monday–Friday clinic schedule, full-time. One remote workday per week when not on service.
- Call
- Every 3rd week dedicated to pediatric liver transplant/hepatology call, including nights and weekends.
- Patients
- Pediatric liver and transplant patients, including children with complex conditions such as muscular dystrophy, Fontan physiology and gene therapy needs. Division handles more than 17,000 outpatient visits and 2,700 procedures annually.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible; experience in liver transplantation. Clinical faculty appointment with Wake Forest University School of Medicine available, commensurate with experience.
