- Setting
- Fully virtual obesity and metabolic health program within Atrium Health, part of Advocate Health, with an interdisciplinary team of dietitians, behavioral health professionals, pharmacists, and care coordinators.
- The work
- Virtual assessments, individualized weight-management plans including pharmacotherapy, longitudinal follow-up, ordering and interpreting tests, quality improvement work, and serving as collaborating physician for up to 7 APPs.
- Schedule
- Full-time, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, with 34 patient contact hours and 6 hours admin weekly.
- Patients
- Adults 18 years of age and older with obesity and metabolic conditions, seen virtually.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances, relocation assistance, and paid medical liability insurance.
- Requirements
- MD or DO and completed accredited residency; Board Certification in Obesity/Weight Management required with maintenance of certification. Must reside in NC, SC, GA, or AL. Virtual care and obesity pharmacotherapy experience preferred.
