- Children's hospital pediatric neurology division with an 8-bed NAEC Level III pediatric EMU in Concord, NC and a 6-bed NAEC Level IV adult/pediatric EMU in Charlotte, NC. Group of 4 epileptologists and 2 epilepsy APPs.
- The work
- Outpatient epilepsy clinic, inpatient care staffing the epilepsy monitoring units, and reading long term and routine EEG. Opportunities to train residents and medical students and take part in quality improvement.
- Schedule
- Full-time.
- Patients
- Pediatric epilepsy patients treated with medication, dietary, neurostimulation and surgical therapies, including a ketogenic diet program, SEEG, laser ablation and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
- What the pay includes
- Salary-based compensation (no RVUs), sign-on bonus, relocation and CME expenses.
- Requirements
- MD/DO. Board certified or eligible in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology, and board certified or eligible in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology.
