Full-time Internal Medicine swing physician with Carolinas Hospitalist Group at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC, delivering hospital-level acute care to adults at home through a hybrid clinical and virtual model. Works 7 on / 7 off, with no ICU coverage and no procedures.
- Setting
- Hospital at Home program using a hybrid clinical and virtual care model; team of 20 physicians and 16 APPs with 24/7 nursing coverage and dedicated nocturnists.
- The work
- Provide acute inpatient-level medical care in a virtual setting; hospital privileges at multiple Atrium Health facilities and telemedicine privileges for select sites.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 7 on / 7 off, primarily 4pm-2am.
- Patients
- Adult patients receiving acute care at home; average of 8 admissions per shift. No ICU coverage and no procedures.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- MD or DO with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification or eligibility; North Carolina license or eligibility; minimum 1 year post-training experience. New graduates not considered.
