The work
First response to L&D and postpartum emergencies, coverage of laboring and unassigned patients, admitting TAP transfers, surgical assist for c-sections and cesarean hysterectomies, and simulations and drills.
Schedule
Full time is (7) 24-hr shifts per month; part time available. Hours listed as 6:30am-6:30pm, with rotating holidays and weekends.
Patients
Obstetric patients on labor and delivery and postpartum, including emergencies such as hemorrhage, prolapsed cord, shoulder dystocia and operative deliveries; around 3,000 deliveries annually.
