Full-time non-invasive cardiologist role with Advocate Heart Institute at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, IL, joining a group of 6 non-invasive cardiologists. Work alternates weeks between hospital rounding and clinic.
- Setting
- Advocate South Suburban Hospital, a 244-bed acute care community hospital and Level II Trauma Center with a cardiac cath lab, heart failure clinic and cardiac rehab program. EMR is EPIC, with DAX Copilot available.
- The work
- Inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic in alternating weeks. Clinic in Hazel Crest with potential coverage in Tinley Park.
- Schedule
- 1.0 FTE, with alternating weeks of hospital rounding and clinic-based care.
- Call
- Weekend call averages 1:4, covering full Saturday and Sunday, plus approximately 2-3 weekday call shifts per month.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease and BE/BC in Echo and Nuclear; CT expertise highly valued. Must be eligible for an unrestricted Illinois license and DEA and controlled substance registration.
