Full-time Family Medicine faculty physician with Atrium Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Charlotte, NC, practicing at the Biddle Point clinic within the Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. The role combines outpatient care for underserved, medically complex patients with precepting residents and medical students.
- Setting
- Academic, full scope Family Medicine community clinic (Atrium Health Biddle Point) in a large integrated network; team of 8 attending physicians and 9 family medicine residents. Epic EMR with DAX Copilot.
- Schedule
- Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; 0.9 Clinical / 0.1 Precepting (negotiable depending on the needs of clinic and department).
- Call
- Phone call only, shared among 9 physicians on a daily and weekend rotation.
- Patients
- Underserved, medically complex patients across the lifespan with diversity of race, culture, ethnicity and language.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine. Ability to perform common outpatient procedures desired.
