Full-time family medicine faculty role with Atrium Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Charlotte, NC, practicing at the Elizabeth Family Medicine Practice within the Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. The role combines outpatient care with precepting residents and medical students, Monday–Friday with no call.
- Setting
- Academic-affiliated, full scope family medicine community clinic (Atrium Health Elizabeth) within a large integrated network; 12/12/12 residency program. Epic EMR with DAX Copilot.
- The work
- Patient care at the Elizabeth Family Medicine practice and precepting family medicine residents and medical students. Outpatient procedures such as colposcopies, contraceptive devices, I&D, benign lesion removals and joint injections.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 0.9 Clinical/0.1 Precepting (negotiable). Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.
- Call
- No call.
- Patients
- Underserved, medically complex patients across the lifespan, diverse in race, culture, ethnicity and language.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine. Ability to perform common outpatient procedures desired.
