- Community hospitals: Hugh Chatham Health, an 81 bed acute care hospital, and Wilkes Medical Center, a 130 bed community hospital, within the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist enterprise. Epic, Dragon dictation and DAX ambient documentation.
- The work
- Outpatient clinic and inpatient service, with imaging duties individualized to section needs and expertise. Works in provider pods of MDs and APPs. Optional inpatient service at Wake Forest Baptist, maximum of 4-5 weeks per year.
- Schedule
- On average 4.5 clinical days per week plus 0.5 day administrative time, with inpatient service averaging 1-2 days per week. Optional: 4.5 days each week on average of outpatient clinic only.
- Call
- No call currently at Hugh Chatham Health, though a future call component may be introduced. Remote call for Wilkes Medical Center one weekend per month on average.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease and Echo; BE/BC Nuclear, Cardiac MRI and/or Coronary CTA if applicable. J1 waiver eligible.
