- Manage critically ill newborns with maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric subspecialists, take part in regional QI initiatives, and lead intermittent teaching of medical and physician assistant students.
- Call
- 1:5, with a plan to move to an NNP Program with 4 NEO and NNPs covering night call.
- Patients
- Critically ill newborns; unit offers therapeutic hypothermia, jet ventilation, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation and NAVA, with a dedicated NICU Transport Team. Region averages 1,400 deliveries annually.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine; board certified or board eligible; Indiana medical license before hire and DEA eligibility. Advanced Life Support preferred.
