- Flagship 800+ bed hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 8 Centers of Excellence, a closed ICU, and multiple residency and fellowship programs. Team of over 80 providers. Sunrise EMR.
- The work
- Rounding on adult medical floors, including the burn center and brain and spine center, within 22–23 physician teams daily; a dedicated admissions team handles intake. Procedures are optional.
- Schedule
- 7-on/7-off schedule including 14 jeopardy days, allowing two 2–3 week breaks during the year.
- Patients
- Adults across diverse units, with a daily census of 15–16 patients. ICU care is handled by dedicated intensivists.
- What the pay includes
- Eligibility for public student loan forgiveness (PSLF).
- Requirements
- MD/DO, board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine; Indiana medical license before hire. ALS preferred. IM strongly preferred over FM; new graduates considered; hospitalist experience a plus.
