- Setting
- Four community hospital campuses in Central Indiana: Carmel and Fishers (suburban, closed ICUs) and Anderson (Level 3 Trauma) and Kokomo (rural, open ICUs).
- The work
- Provide inpatient hospitalist care across the region, including open and closed ICU settings; a separate team handles all admissions. Support the team during census influxes and peak seasons.
- Schedule
- PRN; pick up shifts as desired with no minimum shift requirement. Schedules posted at least 3 months in advance.
- Patients
- High-acuity, varied adult inpatient census serving a diverse population across Central Indiana, in rural and suburban facilities.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine; Indiana medical license before hire. ALS preferred. Hospitalist experience preferred; new graduates considered.
