The work
Provide inpatient pediatric critical care as part of a 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service, supported by pediatric hospitalists, neonatology, a pediatric ER and pediatric sub-specialists.
Schedule
24 hour shifts, 8 hours of it in-house.
Patients
Pediatric critical care patients in a 6 bed PICU; unit also has 16 Pediatric beds, 30 Pediatric Nursery beds and a 30 bed NICU with 12 swing beds.
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care; MD or DO; Illinois medical license prior to hire; eligible for DEA/Controlled Substance registration; Advanced Life Support preferred.
