- Setting
- Community hospital with 387 beds and Level II trauma, part of Ascension's national health system. Inpatient with minimal outpatient practice.
- The work
- Admitting, attending and consulting physician for hospitalized patients; inpatient and outpatient neurology consultation; discharge planning with case management; quality improvement; academic programs as requested.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 7days on/ 7days off.
- Call
- 1:2 call.
- Patients
- Hospitalized patients referred by other physicians, mostly inpatient with minimal outpatient consultation.

- Base salary of $360,000.00 - $430,000.00, $5,000 CME allowance, and malpractice coverage with tail.
- Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurology, MD or DO, Illinois license before hire, and eligibility for DEA/Controlled Substance registration. No experience required; ACLS preferred.
