- Setting
- Inpatient obstetrics at the Women & Infants Hospital (2024), a Level IV Perinatal Center and Level IV NICU at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis, with 24/7 MFM support and 24-hour dedicated anesthesia coverage.
- The work
- Evaluate OB triage patients, manage unassigned deliveries and the labor deck, provide emergency GYN surgical coverage, and mentor OB/GYN residents. Employed position within Ascension Medical Group.
- Schedule
- PRN; 12 and 24-hour shifts available, picked up on a cadence you choose.
- Patients
- High-acuity inpatient obstetric and GYN emergency patients, including ectopic pregnancy and ovarian torsion.
- What the pay includes
- Hourly rate; malpractice coverage with tail.
- Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology; MD or DO; Indiana medical license before hire. Preferred: 3 years of OB/GYN experience, emergency GYN surgical proficiency, Advanced Life Support.
