- Setting
- Level IV perinatal center in a 268,000 sq ft, 9 story Women's Hospital with 109 private NICU rooms, connected to the children's hospital. Team includes genetic counselors, nurse navigators and 10 sonographers; GE E10 machines.
- The work
- Inpatient and outpatient consultation through comprehensive care of complex obstetrical cases; OB hospitalists cover deliveries. Teaching OB and Family practice residents, case presentations and staff education; research support available.
- Schedule
- Office based schedule.
- Call
- Home based call every fourth week/weekend, shared; no in house call.
- Patients
- Referral-based obstetric patients from consultation only to the most complex cases, including life limiting fetal anomalies; broad referral area with maternal and neonatal transport.
- What the pay includes
- Competitive salary, production/quality bonus potential, loan forgiveness ($50K), commencement bonus ($20K), quality incentive (up to $25K), fellowship stipend, relocation allowance and CME.
- Requirements
- MD or DO with Indiana medical license before hire. Advanced Life Support preferred. New graduates and experienced physicians considered.
