About this job
- Setting
- Community hospitals. Carmel has a Level III Maternity Center and Level III NICU with 8 L&D rooms and over 2,000 deliveries in 2025; Fishers has about 250-300 deliveries annually. In-house OB anesthesiology at both.
- The work
- Manage all triage arrivals and ER consults, and perform emergency GYN surgery independently. Work with nursing and four OB groups on delivery and triage, and may float between Carmel, Fishers, Anderson and Kokomo.
- Schedule
- PRN; 12 and 24-hour shifts, picked up on a cadence you choose, based on preference and operational needs.
- Patients
- Obstetric and gynecologic patients, including high-risk maternal patients and high-acuity cases such as ectopics and ovarian torsions.
- Requirements
- Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with 3 years of experience; MD or DO; Indiana medical license before hire. Advanced Life Support preferred.
