- Setting
- Inpatient, 197-bed pediatric hospital with an 8-bed CVICU and 14-bed PICU, pediatric trauma services onsite and a 109-bed Level IV NICU. Athena/Sunrise EMR; team of 6 physicians and 5 APPs.
- The work
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic critical care in the PICU and CVICU, coordinating with cardiology, cardiovascular surgery and case management. Lead program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Schedule
- Full-time, 150 shifts/year.
- Call
- About 50-55 nights/year.
- Patients
- Critically ill pediatric patients, including cardiac patients, in the CVICU and PICU.
- What the pay includes
- Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, CME allowance and allotted CME time off.
- Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine; fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology or equivalent experience. Indiana medical license before hire and DEA eligibility; ALS preferred.
