- Evaluate and treat inpatients, serving as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician; accept inpatient referrals; document to meet payer requirements and support appeals; contribute to quality initiatives.
- Schedule
- Full-time 7-on/7-off rotation, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Patients
- Adults in acute crisis stabilization, including suicidal/homicidal ideation, psychosis and substance withdrawal/detox. Average daily census of 9; typical length of stay 3 to 5 days. Service population of 230,000.
- What the pay includes
- Sign-on bonus up to $100,000.00, relocation assistance up to $10,000.00, CME allowance of $4,000.00, and malpractice coverage with tail.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; board certified or board eligible; Wisconsin or Minnesota medical license before hire; eligible for DEA registration. No experience required. Advanced Life Support preferred.
