- Inpatient behavioral health unit at a 350-bed community hospital and Level III trauma center within a nonprofit health system, serving a surrounding population of 230,000.
- The work
- Evaluate and treat inpatients as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician, with timely documentation, alongside a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to quality and cost-effectiveness initiatives.
- Schedule
- Full-time 7-on/7-off rotation, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Patients
- Ages 5–18 on a 17-bed unit with an average daily census of 11 and typical stay of 5–7 days; acute crisis stabilization for suicidal/homicidal ideation, psychosis and other safety concerns.
- What the pay includes
- Sign-on bonus up to $100,000.00, relocation assistance up to $10,000.00, CME allowance of $4,000.00, and malpractice coverage with tail.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; board certified or board eligible; eligible for state medical license and DEA registration. No experience required. Advanced Life Support preferred.
