Setting
Established ophthalmology practice with 13 ophthalmologists (including two vitreo-retinal surgeons) and 6 optometrists, tied to a 574-bed Level I Trauma teaching hospital. Epic EMR with Kaleidoscope for Eyes; Zeiss Forum for images.
The work
Medical retina clinic, procedures and laser, with optional cataract surgery. Teach ophthalmology residents and Baylor College of Medicine students; possible bi-weekly time at a satellite clinic 22 miles away.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, with dedicated time for clinic, procedures, and laser.
Call
4 weeks per year.
Requirements
BC/BE in ophthalmology, or active pursuit of board certification; Doctorate Degree in Medicine; Texas medical license.
