Setting
Large nonprofit integrated system: 14 hospitals and 55 clinics; about 90 employed radiologists. Onsite coverage at hospital and outpatient imaging centers; affiliated with a diagnostic radiology residency program.
The work
Daytime reading mainly within your subspecialty (Abdominal, Cardiothoracic, Emergency, Musculoskeletal or Neuroradiology) plus a minor mix of general diagnostic radiology. PET/CT optional. Academic appointments available.
Schedule
Choice of: hybrid daytime with no evenings or weekends; every-other-week hybrid daytime + 13 weekends; or fully remote evenings (2 PM – 10PM), 7-on /14-off, plus 15 additional shifts per year.
Patients
ED/inpatient and outpatient imaging; breast imaging, neuroradiology and IR covered by dedicated sub-specialists. In-house 24/7 coverage with overnight radiologists.
What the pay includes
Shift and per click internal moonlighting options are available.
Requirements
MD or DO; licensed or eligible for Texas licensure; BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology. Subspecialty training or Emergency Department focus sought.
