Setting
636-bed acute care Level I trauma center and academic site for Baylor College of Medicine. Mixed anesthesia care team/solo staffing model with CRNAs; Epic EMR.
The work
General anesthesiology including neuro, OB, thoracic and regional anesthesia. Teaching faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine, working with medical students, residents and fellows.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, with weekend and evening call rotated equally among the group.
Call
Approximately 1 weekday call shift per month with pre and post call days off; 1-2 weekend call shifts (12 hours) per month with premium pay.
Patients
General anesthesia cases including neuro, OB, thoracic and regional. No cardiac or pediatric cases.
What the pay includes
Salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, premium pay for weekend call, and additional earnings for after hours and weekends. CME reimbursement ($4,200).
Requirements
BC or BE in anesthesiology; Texas medical license from the Texas Medical Board; Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
Benefits named
