- Academic referral center with a level I trauma center main hospital and surrounding clinics; department has 12 residents, 5 APPs and 11 faculty, including one Pediatric Dermatologist.
- The work
- Patient care in Pediatric Dermatology outpatient clinics within the free-standing Dermatology clinic, plus teaching medical students and residents. Basic dermatologic surgery and laser surgery are available.
- Call
- Call coverage for inpatient consultations at McLane Children's Hospital (112 beds) is shared between all faculty.
- Patients
- Diverse pediatric population, including medically underserved patients; the Pediatric Dermatology waiting list is 4-6 months long.
- Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dermatology; Doctorate Degree in Medicine; Texas medical license by start date.
