Employed Hematology/Oncology physician joining an established CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic practice with CHRISTUS St. Michael hospital in Texarkana, Texas. The posting emphasises a first-year income guarantee followed by RVU-based compensation and a strong referral network.
- Setting
- Outpatient practice on a campus with two CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospitals, including a 311-bed acute care hospital with a Level III Emergency Department. Six exam rooms; Epic EMR in clinic and hospital.
- The work
- Outpatient adult hematology/oncology care. Two Radiation Oncology APCs run the chemo rooms and manage in-treatment patients; procedural cases can be referred to Interventional Radiology.
- Call
- 1:4 call (one weekday/week and one weekend/month), telephone call only, no ER. After-hours nurse triage line assists.
- Patients
- Broad range of adult oncology patients, commonly lung, breast, colon and prostate cancers. Approximately 16–18 patients/day.
- What the pay includes
- First-year income guarantee, then RVU-based compensation. Sign-on and relocation allowance.
- Requirements
- BC/BE, residency trained in Hematology/Oncology. Unrestricted Texas license at start and Texas registered DEA. Upcoming graduating residents may apply.
