About this job
Full-time cardiothoracic surgery position with a thoracic emphasis at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas - St. Elizabeth CVT Surgical Associates in Beaumont, TX. The role is OR-centric with clinic limited to one day per week, and new grads are welcome.
- The work
- Perform thoracic and cardiac surgery including VATS, pericardial window, rib/sternal plating, lobectomy, thoracentesis, CABG, open mitral or aortic valve replacement and TAVR. Clinic for surgical consults and post-op follow-ups.
- Schedule
- Full time. Office hours limited to one day per week; remaining time focused on the OR.
- Patients
- Thoracic and cardiac surgical patients, including lung resection, CABG, valve replacement and TAVR.
- What the pay includes
- Relocation, sign-on bonus, quality bonus and CME allowance.
- Requirements
- American Board of Thoracic Surgery board-certified or board-eligible; Texas medical license or eligible. New grads welcome.
