- Utah Valley Hospital, a Level II trauma facility, and Utah Valley Orthopedic Clinic; Musculoskeletal team of 23 providers (14 physicians, 9 APPs). Local ASC with potential to participate.
- The work
- Comprehensive treatment of all shoulder and elbow conditions, including sports-related conditions with the Sports Medicine team, with APP support in clinic and OR.
- Schedule
- 2 days per week in clinic and 2 days per week OR time; 40 scheduled weekly hours.
- Call
- Sub-specialty call for the Orthopedic Trauma Program may be required; commitment varies by facility and need, and call is compensated.
- Patients
- Heavy shoulder case load, including sports-related shoulder and elbow conditions with direct referrals from Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University.
- What the pay includes
- Hourly range $7.25 - $999.99 depending on experience; sign-on bonus, relocation assistance (if applicable), call compensation and annual CME allowance.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; ACGME orthopedic surgery residency; shoulder and elbow fellowship, or arthroplasty with emphasis on throwing athletes; Utah license or ability to obtain; BLS and DEA. No visa sponsorship.
