- The work
- Admit patients with a presumed primary cardiac condition and provide consultative service within the CV unit. Keep patients found to have a primary medical condition rather than transferring them; no ICU care.
- Schedule
- Nights. Full time is twelve 12-hour shifts monthly, with pay for shifts beyond that average; 40 scheduled weekly hours. Peers request and cover time off among themselves.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; Internal Medicine residency; ABIM board certified or eligible; active Utah license or ability to obtain one; current BLS before day one. Visa sponsorship generally not available.
