- Setting
- Four urgent care locations in the Denver metro area: Lakewood, Aurora Centrepoint, Rock Creek and Lone Tree Medical Offices, plus the Telephone Medicine Center. Epic-based EMR. New venues such as EDs or CDUs may be added.
- The work
- Assess and treat urgent care patients, perform low risk procedures, stabilize for transfer, and give EM consultation to FM physicians and APPs. Supervise PAs, staff telephone medicine triage and transfers, and help with clinic protocols.
- Schedule
- Part-time or full-time. 8-, 10- & 12-hour shifts, no overnights. Must float to all locations; may include evenings and weekends.
- Call
- Telephone Medicine Center duties include on call services for primary care after hours and on weekends and days.
- Patients
- Patients of all ages with low-medium acuity, non-life-threatening acute conditions, higher acuity than a typical community urgent care; telephonic assessment of ED level patients.
- What the pay includes
- Pay range: minimum $340,241.00 - $400,284.00, based on years of experience and FTE.
- Requirements
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine with experience in a clinic, hospital or urgent care setting. COVID-19 vaccination or qualified exemption required.
