- The work
- See higher-acuity urgent care cases, stabilize for transfer, do low-risk procedures, consult for FM physicians and APPs, supervise PAs, and do telephonic triage and transfer coordination. May staff new EDs or CDUs.
- Schedule
- Part-time or full-time; 8-, 10- and 12-hour shifts. No overnights. May include evenings and weekends.
- Call
- Telephone Medicine Center duties include on call services for primary care after hours and on weekends and days.
- Patients
- Patients of all ages with low-medium acuity, non-life-threatening conditions in a walk-in setting; minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, injections and wound care.
- What the pay includes
- Pay range: minimum $340,241.00 - $400,284.00 and maximum, based on years of experience and FTE. Educational leave with funds.
- Requirements
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine with experience in clinic, hospital or urgent care. COVID-19 vaccination or qualified exemption required.
