Setting: Physician-led multispecialty group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., using a comprehensive electronic health record.
The work: Provide anesthesia across a mixed surgical caseload with minimal CRNA supervision. Leadership opportunities are available.
Schedule: Full-time, on average 40-45 hours a week; salary is based on a 40-hour week, with the option to work more for extra pay or time off.
Call: Approximately 1:7 weekdays and an average of 1 weekend call per month, with a guaranteed post-call day off.
Patients: Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, ENT, bread and butter Pediatrics, Spine, OB, endoscopy and EP. No open hearts or Neurosurgery.
What the pay includes: Starting annual salary of $470,000, not based on individual services; extra pay or time off for additional hours. Pathway to become a shareholder.
Requirements: MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Anesthesia, and licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
