Setting: Kaiser Permanente medical center in Largo, part of a physician-led group of over 1,800 physicians across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Uses a comprehensive EHR.
The work: Outpatient consultative and endoscopy services through internal referrals, mix of virtual and in-person visits, and inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitals. Leadership positions available if desired.
Schedule: Hourly PRN position with 30-minute appointments.
Call: Call is divided equally amongst all providers.
Patients: Kaiser Permanente patients referred internally for GI consults and endoscopy, plus inpatients at affiliated hospitals.
What the pay includes: Starting hourly rate of $300, based on skills, qualifications, training, market data and other factors.
Requirements: MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology, and licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
