About this job

Setting: Community hospital (Virginia Hospital Center) with a 24/7 in-house intensivist and in-house Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams; some shifts at KP observation units in advanced urgent care centers. Integrated EHR with outpatient records.
Schedule: 7 shifts per each 14-day block; shifts 7p to 7a.
Patients: Acutely ill hospitalized Kaiser Permanente patients, plus cross-coverage of some SNF patients and observation unit patients. Codes and rapid responses attended only for Kaiser patients.
What the pay includes: Starting annual salary of $280,000. Pathway to become a shareholder of MAPMG, CME reimbursement and 100% reimbursement for board certification.
Requirements: MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
