- Overnight admissions, consults, cross-coverage and management of acutely ill patients; level-of-care decisions including Advanced Care at Home; coordinating consults and handoffs to the day team. No procedures required.
- Schedule
- Part-time PRN; 7 shifts per each 14-day block, shifts 7p to 7a.
- Patients
- Acutely ill hospitalized Kaiser Permanente patients, plus SNF cross-coverage. Codes and rapid responses attended only for Kaiser patients; in-house Code Blue, Rapid Response teams and 24/7 intensivist at core hospitals.
- What the pay includes
- Starting hourly rate of $135.00, based on skills, qualifications, training, market data and other factors.
- Requirements
- MD or DO; Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine; licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
